There’ll be another platform, smaller, with a data box containing the upgrade recipe. This area is a horrible maze, but keep heading North-West whenever possible until you reach the narrow tunnels. Head across and go West through the ravines. Ice Worm Attack Reduction Module: In a data box in the Arctic Spires, reached after extending the bridge in the Glacial Basin.Look for a small constructed platform overlooking the area. Hop Module: In a data box in the South-West corner of the Glacial Basin, the huge icy pool on the West side of the map. We’ve marked their locations below, along with coordinates for PC players (which you can check by pressing F1). Each of these has a recipe you can find or craft somewhere in the map. There’s two upgrades you can get for the Snowfox - the hop module, which allows the vehicle to jump short distances, and the Ice Worm Attack Reduction Module, which, well… reduces how often you’re attacked by Ice Worms while riding on it. Once crafted, you’ll have your very own Snowfox hoverbike to drive around! Snowfox Upgrades Location It’s a little trickier, especially with the curveball of Magnetite, but shouldn’t prove too difficult beyond that. Using the Habitat Builder, you can assemble a Hoverpad using the following: Now you have both recipes, you can craft both devices. You can’t use it, but scanning it will add the recipe to your Habitat Builder. The biome also has a lot of Resources and Points of Interest. Major details of Samantha Ayou’s plot revolve around this biome. One of the game’s biomes is the Glacial Basin. Inside the Phi Robotics Base, there’s an intact model just on the right as you enter for the first time, a wide white piece of machinery. Subnautica: Below Zero has a map that divides the world into various biomes, each with its own collection of sceneries, animals, and flora, as well as lore. Search it thoroughly for scraps of machinery - these’ll be the fragments. And considering you’ll need to come here anyway to get the Hoverpad, it seems worth getting the fragments here.įor the best fragment spawning area, head out of the North entrance to the Phi Robotics Center, and head left to the open ice with geysers and cracks in the ground. However, the best place seems to be the icy land around the Robotics Center, where these fragments spawn fairly often. Enter the Phi Robotics Center and head directly right at the entrance to find the Snowfox Hoverpad fragment. The exact locations are semi-randomised, with potential spawn points that the fragments may or may not appear at. The Phi Robotics Center is located straight ahead, up a few sets of stairs. General Location: Between the Glacial Basin and West Arctic biomes, near the Thermal Spires biome. As its name suggests, it is technically a conenctor route between two bigger biomes, filled with labrynthian tunnels. Keep following this tunnel into the open clearing at the end. This small area is a sub-biome thats extremely easy to miss. Head left at the next canyon junction to find a corridor with Fevered Pepper Trees. Once players have reached land, they must head toward the left side of the canyon, using geysers to keep warm in the chilling weather of Planet 4546B. Follow the southwestern/western trajectory, passing a large underwater cable, to find a landbridge in the canyon directly ahead. These jellyfish signify the beginning of the Arctic Region in Subnautica: Below Zero. Players must head straight in this direction until jellyfish appear nearby a glacial wall. The Glacial Basin is situated toward the southwest/west direction of the map, right in between the SW and W on the compass. First, players must locate the Glacial Basin to start searching for fragments.
